Hi there!

I’m Jacques, but you can call me Jax! I’m a multidisciplinary designer and communications coordinator based in Houston, TX. I started my career in graphic design at an ad agency working alongside the Houston Chronicle, then had the privilege of transitioning into the UI/UX design world with Academy Sports + Outdoors, Shift Technologies, and Umbrage Studios, before moving into nonprofit work as a communications coordinator.

My process starts by walking alongside people, understanding the challenges they face each day, and getting to know their real needs. From there, I focus on identifying root problems and creating thoughtful solutions. Through creative problem-solving across print and digital design, web experiences, social media, and organizational workflows, I turn complex ideas into high-quality content that supports long-term goals.
